Aya Kudo

This project by Google Arts & Culture + Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) introduces unique Japanese culinary culture which is so diverse across the nation. The project aims to invite tourists to explore hidden local treasures and ultimately preserve the culture for the next generations.
Images were carefully chosen in order to avoid the cliché of Japanese food culture and communicate authenticity of the content. Those images show scenes that only local people are familiar with, and the life of people who preserve the local food culture.
